In November 2013, Garajistanbul (Istanbul, Turkey) has hosted the world premiere of an extraordinary theatre project called Womb Tomb. The italian artist and director Simone Mannino has been working on this project over the last 2 years, but in January 2013 he felt that Istanbul was the proper place to bring his project to life.

Womb Tomb is a theatrical project based on an original reinterpretation of the ancient Greek myth of Oedipus, whose cultural and psychological legacy keeps fascinating world culture since more than 2.500 years.
